Should I be doing my brother-in-law's laundry?

Okay so here is the situation; My husband is away in the Military, and I am in the middle of a move. I am waiting for our new house to be ready so I am staying with my in-laws.

Father-in-law is out of the country for work, and Mother-in-law is out of town with family. So I am staying alone with my 18 year old brother in law, who is used to having his mother do things for him.

There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and he uses the one attached to the master suite and I use the guest one. I went into the master bathroom to weigh myself, and noticed that since his mother left ( 1 week ago ) ever time he showers he leaves his dirty clothes on the floor! There is a HUGE pile!!

When my MIL returns she is going to have a heart attack! Should I do it for him? or is that a little weird? I mean, he is more then capable of doing it himself...

You could suggest before MIL returns that you work together on a clean up day. If his laundry appears in the laundry room, tell him you will let him go first and you will do your laundry later. Some guys are oblivious........just need a little push in the right direction.

I would question him about him doing his own and remind him that mommy won't be there forever and if he's game learning then show him how to do it.

If he's not into it then I wouldn't do it if I were you, it's not really your place and I'm sure your mom in law is used to it.
