Last Thursday, I bought a new 2010 Honda Accord LX. When I got it, it only had 5 miles on it. I noticed that when I am trying to start from a complete stop, the car does not seem to move right away. It feels as if the car is dragging to move. When I am looking at the dashboard, the tachometer goes all the way up to about 3k rpm, and the car is only about 20-25 mph. However, after that, it is a smooth ride. Is this cause for concern or is it all in the process of breaking the car in? Should I be more gradual in my acceleration? I know I need to vary speed so I can engage all parts of the engine's capability. What are everyone's take on this matter?
