Should I be bold and tell him I like him?

I very recently got myself out of a horrible relationship and I decided that I did not want to get into another relationship for quite a while. I didn't realize however that I would fall for someone so quickly. I met this guy who is incredibly sweet and I see him almost every day. He knew about my ex boyfriend and how horrible things were, but we still made out one night and cuddled and such, but that night I told him I wasn't looking for a relationship. Since then he hasn't put his hands on me or made a move or anything. We still hang out every day though so I'm not sure if he's being respectful or if he lost interest. I really like him though and I'm too shy to tell him that....what should I do? Do you think he really lost interest that quickly?
