a little over a month ago I stepped on a broken oyster shell at my friends house, and it punctured my heel pretty far.
My moms friend was a nurse, and she checked to make sure nothing was in it, cleaned it up, and then bandaged it up.
And well it hurt really bad for awhile so i couldn't walk on it, and then when the pain went away(mostly) and the bleeding stopped i continued to clean it and such like she had told me to.
And well after awhile when it was mostly healed, and i could pretty much used my foot fully again, it felt like something was still in it.
I cannot put any pressure on one part of my foot because it hurts, and then when I looked at my foot there was a bunch of dead skin where the puncture wound was, so i cut it all away today, and I have like this kind of gap in my heel now, pretty deep, (and a tad wide), and I am a little freaked out.
So should I ask my mom to take me to the doctors for this?
Or should I just sit back and let my body do its own thing?
Please answer!
