I was considering applying for a summer internship but I'm planning on studying in Germany for the next school year. Would that be a good idea? The internship would probably be in another state. I'm not sure if it's OK for me to leave California since I'll be applying for a visa. Because of the timing with most of the internships I've been looking at I'd get back home and only have a week to prepare to leave for Germany. I'm very conflicted.
Should get a summer internship right before I study abroad for a year?
