Should gay people pay more for health insurance than straight people?

How do you determine such things?
I, a straight person, would have to pay more than the average straight person due to a preexisting condition which requires medication to control. Never mind that I am otherwise fully functional in society, work, pay my taxes, and my condition is both non-communicable (I can't spread it) and easily controlled, nor will it cripple or kill me; I can't afford it, unless I plan on making at least twice as much money as I do now, and then, my condition isn't covered.
So, no, they shouldn't.
