Tell me why the media has given neither the Giants nor the Rangers any respect all postseason long, running into the World Series.
When the Giants beat the Phillies, the media claimed that the "Phillies hitting choked", but didn't give any credit to the Giants' number one pitching staff and bullpen in the league. Is there any doubt they have the best rotation and bullpen in the league? Anybody want to argue otherwise?
When the Rangers beat the Yankees, they said that the "Yankees pitching didn't do it's job", but didn't give any credit to the Rangers' number one offense in the league.
Now that both teams are here, they don't even seem to like it. What more do they want!? The best pitching in the league vs. the best hitting, statistically. Two teams that have never won in their new cities. Something's gotta give. This is the kind of storyline that ESPN craves, but they aren't getting in on it...
Should I as a Giants fan, or you as a Rangers fan, be insulted that there seems to be more talk on how the Yankees and Phillies both choked rather than two great teams making the World Series?
