Should Dundee United have made an official complaint to the Scottish Football

Association? Will this open the floodgates to similar complaints? For example, Rangers might have complained over Scott MacDonald's goal being allowed, St. Mirren might have complained over the Nakamura free kick or Aberdeen over the Zander Diamond goal which was disallowed.

Is it reasonable to expect referees to do their job in this kind of environment?
