Should Bush/Cheney and the Oil companies bailout GM?

They made the most money on the high gas prices. So, they should be the ones who bailout GM.

You know what....that's not a bad idea. Without cars, the oil companies would flounder. Why shouldn't they pitch in and help? It sure would be better that way than if our tax dollars has to pay for it.
 
Bush/Cheney are already pushing to give the big three the loans that were approved for developing fuel-efficient vehicles. That is merely stuffing our tax dollars down the auto industry rat hole to delay the inevitable.

I would certainly think OPEC would love to keep Hummers on the road.
 
Psssst..Oil companies net profit was 8%...Walmart's net profit 10%...why are you griping? Wanna do a windfall profit tax on Walmart. do you know how much Wite Out costs per gallon?
