I dont know how often this happens, but i know two situations in particular.

When Douglas Adams died, there had been talk of a 6th book to "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" book series. However if there had ever been one at all, no one may never know.

His editors searched his house over time and found a series of short stoies and biographies he had never published and put them together into "Salmon of Doubt: Hitchhiking the Galaxy one last time".

Michael Crichton who is most commonly known for the Jurrasic Park stories, died recently and now word is two more books will be published.

Do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing to do?
