I have just bought an 01 BMW M3 two days ago...the dealer gave me the 2 yr warrenty, but it does not cover tires. I didnt notice at the time of the purchase, but the tires have air bubbles in them (signs of age and abuse and should have been replaced before puchase). Should the dealership cover this repair/replacment?
the only thing is that I bought it from a BMW dealership directly, Im hoping they have good business practice to replace the tires since they did screw me over, but im not banking on it.
just got off the phone with the dealership, they agreed to split the cost with me, guess I can't complain about that. thanks everyone

this is obviously a used car and it does clearly state does not cover tyres.

the fact that you didn't notice is unfortunately your problem - remember the saying in future 'buyer beware' - there is a latin/french/legal (or whatever) saying which means the same and i can't quite remember it but the literal translation is as above.

no they should not have been replaced if they could get away with it and get away with it they did. if you had noticed this at the time you could probably have made some sort of deal with them.

this is a hard but valuable lesson to learn however you are not the only one who has been caught out and you certainly wont be the last.

sorry i could not give you a better answer.

no--unfortunately if the warranty doesn't cover the tires then you are responsible for them--that's something you would have to of brought up before taking it off the lot~~

If you had caught the fact it needed tires before you bought the car and left the lot, they probably would have replaced them. But since you have already left the lot the cost of the tires is on you.Just be prepared for the cost of those run flat tires you are going to have to buy for that car. They are expensive.
