situation? I just finished reading and heard it on the news that he took nine billion from his investors and now they are liquidating his assets and they are worth 7.2 billion. That means he only spend a paltry $1.8 billion of the cash. This correlates to a net loss of about 20% vs what the market has been doing which is a much higher loss.

You cannot put the gains in after he was caught and before that the market took a terrible hit.
If it's 60 Billion then he is a big time loser. He is where he can do no harm now.

bruce that' classic "ponzi' and social security.

I thought it was nine, but what in the world did he do with all the other cash, that is a ton of money. Only ones I know that can spend that much are Congress and then add some pork to it.
Pluto many of them did just live off the 10% return and left the rest in his control.
Funkbot that is how we got the five bucks a gallon gas, morgan stanley and Goldman used their media connections to drive it up and yes no regulations and they didn't even have to keep one document. Someone needs to look at that for sure. I wonder with the lobbyists and special interest handing the House and Senate members billions every year, plus employing their families (all legal as hey voted it that way), I wonder if anything will ever be done. You may know this site, but you can look at say what your senators take in in donations, from whom and how they vote. It goes back all the way, opensecrets.org.
