I'm not saying I plan to go in and shout off about how my God can beat your God, the challenge (for want of a better word) would be more a debate of certain teachings. I ask this because I have a friend who is struggling to make a decision about their life due to their Catholic background clashing with a more appropriate path and it is starting to make them ill. They are not a practicing Catholic, the issue stems from them being indoctrinated as a child and raised with set values of 'right' and 'wrong' which aren't fully functional in temporary society.
I won't go into details as to my friends problem, as that is both personal and irrelevent to the question.

I will disagree with anyone who claims right and wrong to be constant - at the time of the Bible it would have been perfectly acceptable for me to take a 13 year old wife. Generally that's frowned upon nowadays. As times change as does our (being society) perception of right and wrong.
