should a guy get laser hair removal on chest?

I'm 23 and have hair on my chest and stomach. These days, the "hairless look" is obsessed over in our culture. When I go to the beach, most guys don't have body hair, and so I feel uncomfortable about my look. But some women like body hair.

So, how should I decide whether to get permanent hair removal or not? Do most women prefer guys with no chest/ab hair these days? I'm worried that if I get hair removal, "the 70s trend of manly hairy men" will come back some day. lol Waxing and shaving is too annoying and causes ingrown hairs, so I'm considering laser removal option.
 
The biggest question is what do you like? Hairless chests are a fad now. It was a fad hundreds of years ago, and it will be a fad in other generations to come. Women truly care more about how you treat them than hair or no hair on your chest.

Many men remove hair to show muscle definition. That's fine if he's always going to have those muscles, but having the hair also can disguise less than perfect muscles.

My opinion:

Back hair...permanent removal.

Chest hair...temporary removal.

I you should choose to get laser, do your homework. For descent results, you must choose the right laser for your skin type, and have a laser tech that is trained and skilled. Laser will not get rid of all your hair. It's laser hair reduction, not removal. You need someone experienced in male chests or you could end up with patchiness.
 
The body hair vs. no body hair issue has been going on for centuries! Frankly, this is an issue that's on the very bottom of my list of preferences regarding men. Who cares about body hair if a guy treats me well, has a sense of humor, is able to carry on an intelligent conversation, and has an honest and open heart? Do whatever you want to please YOU, but please know that most women will be happy with you if YOU are happy with you! Self-confidence is very attractive!

I am one who likes a natural man. I do not want my man to be pretty, to be waxed, plucked, hair sprayed, spray tanned, or anything else. I want a clean man, a kind man, a funny man, and a loving man. A man who works, loves his mom, can fix things, and loves children and animals...but that is just me!:round:
 
I'm with Choice.. excessive back hair, think about permanent removal. Don't know any woman that likes that.
Chest hair is another story. I actually like a guy with hair on his chest.. that's what a man is supposed to have. Don't get worked up about what they other guys are doing. Women like men of all sizes, shapes, hairy or not hairy. If a woman is going to like you for you, she'll get over what type of body hair you have.
