Should a 2006 Mazda 6 MPS have a light in the boot?

I have no light in the boot (trunk)of my MPS. Does anybody own one and does it have a boot light. The local Mazda garage says it should not have one!!!

Why not just believe the dealer. They should know and if there is no light unit in the boot of your car then there is not one there!
