I have a 10 yr old daughter. I'm thinking about getting a phone for her for Christmas. nothing super expensive or nice. Something sturdy. It seems silly because shes only 10 and really kids with cell phones seems kind of crazy. My thought was if she had a phone she could stay in contact with family that is out of state, if something happens and there is no phone around or available shell have her own to call for help, and it will have family locator for us to keep an eye on her when shes hanging out with friends and such. shes learning responsibilities and gets good grades so she deserves it for the most part. i just dont know.
so is it crazy to get someone so young a cell phone?
