I've had stomach aches, acidity, nausea for many years. I took OTC antiaciRAB.
Later I started feeling that fooRAB were getting stuck in my throat.
But now it progressed to what I believe is LPR. I have post nasal drip, mucus in throat, clearing throat, burning in throat, choking on mucus, mucus/acid stuck in esophagus; difficulty swallowing saliva, constantly needing to drink water or eat something in order to swallow, otherwise saliva feels like it gets stuck in throat. The most bothersome for me is the fact that I have trouble swallowing saliva.
(I had a cold with lots of mucus, but then it turned inward and never stopped. But it was probably coincidental.)
I am trying to find something that would help short-term. Something to make swallowing saliva easier and to get rid of mucus/acid. I need to get lots of dental work done, and having to deal with swallowing problems while at the dentist's is a nightmare! What can I do to help at least short term? Drink lots of baking soda? Take lots of pepto? Nexium? What to do? Thanks.
