Hi, I was wondering whether anyone has had anything similar to what I am going to describe.. I used to get a very sharp pain under my breast on the left hand side, kind of under my top rib. That is the nearest place I can describe it. I found it just came on randomly and it hurt when breathing in deeply or quickly. The only way I could get rid of it was if I breathed in slowly a few times. If I were to describe how this felt it was as the pain was like an elastic band and it would eventually after a minute of so feel like the pain 'snapped' and went away.
Recently, this has started happening again. It doesn't cripple me but it shocks me when it happens as I dont have any signs. I could just start laughing and that will bring it on or when im slouching.
I am going to have routine bloods done on the 25th but was just wondering if this sounds like anything somebody else has had in the past. Thanks a lot!
I am 20 years old, do not smoke and never have, and only drink small amounts socially. No major medical history.
