Shopping for a good mattress

I would like to hear from someone who has bought a new mattress and has had it for while, maybe a year or so and what brand it is or features. Ours is 11 years old . I have been looking at consumer complaints on the internet and it seems there are alot of problems with mattresses these days. I have some back issues although not serious and am thinking a new mattress would help. If you found a good one would appreciate your comments.
 
This is such a personal thing. Cost, type, size, you name it. When I replaced our mattress, I got a Sterns and Foster, top of hte line. My mothers back surgeon told her it was the best one to buy as far as inner spring ones went. We bought ours-we like firm mattresses. I wouldn't sleep on anything else!

When both of our boys went off to college we bought them Sterns and foster also! Guess we shouldn't have started them off on good beRAB when they were young, as they expected the same just bigger... My DILs arenn't overly excited about the firm mattresses, but the boys had the beRAB before they got the girls!
