She said that she's talking to someone else, should I move on?

i wont tell the whole story but i think she may have liked me at one point but i didnt ask her out. i told her a few days ago that i really liked her on tuesday, but i kind of rushed it think. and asked her if she wanted to see a movie with me on friday, she smiled and said maybe cause she's going to the game on friday. i talked to her today and told her i meant it, and she said she's been talking to someone else for a while now and she didn't know what to say then and she didn't want things to be awkward. i talked to her after lunch and asked if we could get something to eat after school and she said sorry she had softball after school, i told her that i should have asked a while ago if she wanted to go out and said i thought she did at one point or maybe still does like me. i thought i was annoying her so i said i'm sorry and she said it was ok you don't need to apologize, and then i proceeded to make things worse and asked if we could go out sometime, she went off to class and she looked kind of annoyed or confused (i guess, can't think of anything else to describe it as) i haven't seen her since and probably wont till tuesday (3 day weekend). she said they weren't going out yet. And never directly said she didn't like me what should i do now? i want to ask her just how she really feels about it, if she says she doesn't want to, what should i do, any advice. i'm not trying to suffocate her or push her into it, i just can't help it and I just feel like I've made it worse. what do you guys think i should do? I want this girl, I want to be with her.
