I loved Shawshank, just watching Escape From Alcatraz which I have never watched in full before. I had heard their are many similarites, and there REALLY are (in first half hour at least, like i say typing this as i watch), BUT Alcatraz seems SO downbeat, and slow...(ok a bit boring, and I know the ending)
