I got the new SBT500 sharper image wireless bluetooth headphones for Christmas. You are supposed to be able to use them with phone or computer. My computer does recognize the device, but says it can't find the drivers. No drivers on the sharper image site. Haven't found any elsewhere. Any idea how to get them to work on my computer?
I answered my own question - but for other confused users - i had to use the installation disk for the bluetooth adapter I bought for my laptop. Once I did that, I could open the bluetooth profile and connect to my headset. Now it works fine. There were 2 important bits: 1: make sure when you turn on the bluetooth to connect the first time you hold down the power button until it is alternating red and blue lights - that means that it is discoverable (only necessary until the computer has discovered the device), then make sure you have your bluetooth software installed. The headset itself doesn't need drivers. Whew.
