Occasionally I'll get a sharp pain that starts inside my vaginal cavity and travels up into my lower abdomen. It never lasts long (a minute, at most?) and it doesn't happen very often (maybe once every several months) so it's never been something that I felt warranted going to the doctor in the past.
However, given that it has happened a handful of times at this point, I'm starting to feel concerned. It's happened probably 5 separate times over the past year and a half.
Any ideas on what this might be? I've tried to do research but didn't come up with anything.
