My back has seemed a little sore for the past couple days but ever since yesterday I have had this real sharp pain in about the middle of my back. It seems to be a little bit to the left of my spine almost directly behind my lung area. I have strep throat right now and a fever that reaches 102 and I figured the pain was from achiness associated with the fever. However it is constantly getting worse and I find it uncomfortable to sit or lie down normally. I am 18 and have never had any issues with my back in this area before. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this?
