I sometimes get a very sharp pain under my ear, behind my jaw on my right side. It's extremely sharp and painful, but usually only lasts for about ten seconds. More recently the pain has been coming up more often-a few times a day, and for longer time frames. It swells up much larger than my left ear lymph node when the pain comes on. The pain is so strong that i have to push on it with my hand and bend my neck down to my shoulder until it stops. I never really thought anything of it until last night when the pain lasted for about five minutes. I haven't been sick or anything so I don't know what's happening and I don't know why it's always on my right side. It really might be nothing to worry about, but after last night I decided that I should probably ask around and find out if it's something more serious. Please help! Thanks so much!
