I'm 16, never been pregnant, never had any serious problems, and I'm a virgin.
Ever since I was maybe 10, I've had this weird pain that comes in the middle of the night. It used to happen every couple of months, I'd wake up in the middle of the night with it. But I haven't had it in over a year now, and I've been wondering about it lately.
It only happened during the night, and it was like someone was stabbing me from the inside for about 4 seconds, then it would go away for about 15 seconds and then come back. This happened repeatedly for up to about 4 hours. It hurt to breathe, I couldn't even stand up straight; I had to lean over to the side, and that still hurt. I never found a remedy for it, nothing worked. My mom took me to the emergency room for it once but they found nothing.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
It only happened on the left side, just under my rib cage.
