Sharp pains on my right side.?

i have stomach problems normally.
but lately ive been getting worse sharp side pains on the right side and stomach like right under my ribs. it has been happening on and off for about a week. today they moved downward too closer to my hip but still on my right.
lately ive been involved with more sexual activity but i didnt know if that could possibly have anything to do with it.
if not what else could it be from?
