i have googled this but only find stuff about the pains ya get in your sides when trying to get up and pull a ligament. this is different. happens when standing and its a sharp pain in my "hair area" down there. not directly inside my vagina. its so sharp that it makes me stop and gasp. only last a couple seconds. couldnt be dialating cause i am only 28 weeks. this has just been happening past few days. any ideas?

I remember that happening to me when I was pregnant, I think when I stood up too fast. I'm sorry I don't remember what caused it, but I remember it was normal...

Try looking up Pubic Bone Pain or Pubic Symphysis Diastasis as it might be that - I had it with my first pregnancy and it can be absolutely excruciating. It's caused by loosening ligaments and is often worse when standing, trying to roll over in bed, trying to get out of the car, standing on one foot (like to dress if you don't sit down to put on your pants for example).

I found a good osteopath/massage therapist who was able to help with the pain tremendously (for me it was primarily caused by my hip being slightly tilted one way and some parts of my lower back being less flexible so the ligaments at the front would stretch more as a result and it would really, really hurt). Try finding a massage therapist in your area that has experience treating pregnant women, or a physiotherapist or osteopath.
