I woke up this morning with a fairly sharp pain in my knee. I didn't think anything of it at first because I figured that it would go away after I got moving. It didn't. I get the sharp pain when bending my knee to sit or stand (I can barely manage to get up or down because it really hurts) and also when going down stairs.
I've never had any problems, and I'm just wondering if I could have done something to cause this in my sleep and if this is something that needs to be checked out. I have never felt this kind of pain before, and it is worrying me a bit.
