Sharp pain on the right side under rib cage?

I am a 13 year old female, and I have been feeling a sharp pain just under my rib cage since I was about 6. The sharp pain comes randomly about maybe less than ten times a year. I usually feel this pain in windy weather. I have gone many times to get this checked by the doctor when I was much younger, but they did not know. One doctor, however, said that this was due to wheezing. Is it really? And what causes the wheezing?
