Sharp Pain in the Palm of my Hand?

???

New member
Today, i just started getting a random shock of pain in the palm of my right hand, its right above my wrist and hurts a lot. It feels like something is shocking my hand, or just a really sharp pain going through it.
It feels better when I put pressure on it, but hurts when i try to type, write, text, or do anything to use that hand.
Is it because I text, Write and Type a lot?

Please help me, I dont know what to do.

One of my friends had something like this a while ago. I'm not sure, but you might have it. My mom is a nurse, and she's told me about it. It's called Carpal-tunnel syndrome. I don't remember what it quite is, but it has to do with the nerves that run in your arm, and can be caused from repetitive motion in the arm, like writing, typing, and texting a lot. If I were you, I would go see a doctor because if it is Carpal tunnel syndrome, it needs to be treated by surgery if it is severe, or by therapeutic relief.
