sharp pain in neck, followed by body feeling hot suddenly, need quick answer pls!?

Had a sharp pain in right outer neck, followed by full body getting hot for couple second, possible explination???
 
sounds like whip lash (pulled neck muscle) to me. whenever i get it my neck gets a really sharp pain and then its hot for awhile and stays that way for awhile but goes away within an hour or so. One time i got it so bad that i couldnt move my neck for 2 days.
