sharp pain in my tounge?

right well for about a month now ive been getting this pain like a slicing pain running up the centre of my tongue this only happens on the underneath side no the top and its dead in the centre on that little skin bit well any way i came a cross this forum and every one that this is happening to is in their early to mid 40's im only 23 i do have my tongue pierced however and im beginning to think it might have alot to do with that
i have no other health issues and i am other wise healthy
any info on this would be great
