Sharp pain in my head?

I have been having a sharp/electrifying pain go through the left part of my head also affecting my ear for about 5 days now, sometimes the pain will come and go every 1-2 minutes or less for about 10 minutes, and then not have anything happen for about an hour or so then it will happen again. It occurs if I move my head a certain way as well. what could the problem be
