Lately I have been experiencing a super sharp pain in my chest at random times. It has become more frequent. It happened to me a few times within the last few years, and it started up again. It hit once last week, once a few days ago, and 3 times today (During school, 6th and 7th period, and then once just a while ago)
The pain is in my chest, around the left shoulder. It is close to the heart, but a bit more up and to the left of it. This most recent time it spread to my neck. I think it's deeper than the muscle. When I breathe during those pains, I put pressure on it, and I breathe slowly, sometimes taking deep breaths, sometimes lighter breaths. Either way it hurts really badly. This time, it has remained, but is really light and doesn't hurt too bad.
At first I thought it might be PCS, but I had no luck. Everywhere I see just describes PCS, and with a "pain in the lower breast"
Anyone know what it might be? My friend suggested it was just from sleeping on one side too much, and waking up in awkward positions. I sleep on both sides evenly, and I wake up in normal positions.
By the way I am 15 years old, turning 16 in 5 days. I weigh around 90-120 lbs, I don't exercise too much, instead usually I just sit around the house, but not enough to get fat or unhealthy. I am of relatively sound health. When I was younger, I was told that I might have asthma, but it wasn't a doctor who told me, unless I was there without knowing it. I have had my tonsils removed. I am about 5'5" or so. I am a tad bit too skinny, and you can see my ribs (slightly), and see them really well when I raise my arms up, and my bony shoulders and arms, and my spine is really easy to feel.
I also tend to get a burning feeling around my throat at random times, and I have to take antacid or Alka Seltzer to get rid of it.
