Sharp pain in low right abdomen?

I have been having this sharp pain in my low right abdomen, in the pelvic area. It hurts way worse the more I move and the area is sensitive to the touch. It cannot be my appendix, I had that removed in 2009, I am not pregnant and no where near menstruation. I had never had menstrual cramping. I did however, have a baby almost 9 months ago. I do not know if this is something I should be worried about, The pain started last night and has gotten worse tonight. Thank you for your answers
