A year ago I had a discectomy and laminectomy in L3-L4-L5. In the hospital after surgery I was complaining of a pain in my calf. The P.A. looked at it poked around, grunted whatever....disregarded. Over the last year, it still continues to hurt. It is like someone hit it with a rock. It is a local pain, almost stings, sometimes keeps me awake. I pointed to the spot and the surgeon saw the broken blood vessels I have there. He ordered a nerve conduction test, the results normal. I had a test to determine any blood clots, negative.
Does anyone experience this or have any clues? thanks
