sharp pain in left temple and behind left eye

its been 4 months since I first got this pain, it feels like small stabs in the side of my head and when people speak loud it becomes impossible to cope with. it also gives me the urge to go sleep and even feel sick and even when i fall asleep and then wake up the pain reappears. it wont let me eat at all at times. however it only lasts for about a day when I have had a good sleep at night it goes but then reappears after about a 2 week period. does anyone know what type of headache is this?

It sounds like you have migraine headaches--typically migraine suffers experience nausua and vomiting and there only real relief is to get into a very dark room and sleep.

You should probably get an appointment with your primary care to go over your symptoms and what may be the trigger that is causing the headaches.
Some times it is a lack of caffeine if you are trying to cut back on caffinated beverages (caffeine withdrawl). It can also be some type of allergy.
