Well today i was play football ( soccer ) and then i don't know what happened, suddenly i tried to kick the ball and i had a bad bad stabbing pain at the back of my ankle, i sat down for a while for like about 15 to 20 minutes i did some stretches and then i got back up to my feet and the pain became mild it stop hurting but if i try over stretch my foot i would feel pain again. Hours later, the pain went so when i started over stretching there was no more pain well yeah there was just a little tiny bit of pain, not much tho, i can walk fine no problem with walking and when i walk i feel no pain. I can also stand on my tip toes i have got no pain. So did i pull it? Please help because tomorrow i have a football competition which i have to be fully fit.

I would be so careful, i had this exact thing happen to me while i was training, i rested up for 3 days and then thought it was getting better however it wasnt, next thing i knew i had completely torn the achilles from the extension point at the back of the heel.... i have now had 4 surgeries and it is still only 70% and i have not done sports for 10mths.

Get to a doctor and have a scan as soon as possible.... it may just be tendonitis, which is highly possible but with the achilles you never know unless you have a scan done.

The achilles takes a super long time to heal because the bloodflow to that region is minimal which makes healing extremely difficult.

good luck
