I'm in my 27th week, and I've got this sharp stabbing pain that goes from my clitoris through to a section that only feels about an inch or two inside. I'm not sure what the technical term is for exactly where this pain is...whether it's the urethra or the vagina...I really don't think it's far enough up to be the cervix, which is why I'm not sure this is pregnancy related or not.
It doesn't hurt when I pee. It doesn't hurt any more (or less) when I move around. It doesn't hurt any more (or less) to the touch (I can't even really pinpoint exactly where it is in my vagina when I feel for it). It just sits there, throbbing inconsistently. I've had it before, but this morning's seemed to last longer than usual (about an hour). I honestly don't remember if I had this sort of pain at any time before I was pregnant; but I've had it a few times since I've been pregnant.
I tried to do a bit of research and found something suggesting dilation and preperation for birth [http://www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-body/aches-pains/pregnancy-vaginal-pain/], but even though it says it can take place "several weeks before labor", it just seems too early!
Are these just growing pains? Preparation pains? Technically, what body part is this that's hurting inside me: the cervix, the vagina, the urethra? (Lol, I've never been very good with identifying any body parts that aren't obvious...like my feet!)
