This has been going on for a few years now but has become increasingly worse. It happens once or twice a week. I get a sudden sharp pain beneath my ribs when I breath and it gets stronger with each breath. I can't move or it hurts more. I can't tell where exactly the pain is but it's always on the left side around the lung area(sorry I'm no doctor idk what it is). I'm a 15 year old female. My mom seems to think it's nothing but I don't think she realizes how severe the pain is. What could this be?
