I have never injured my wrist... but lately the pain has been going on and off. Today while going down the stairs, my hand was gliding down the rail and when I pulled it away, a sharp pain struck my wrist.
The pain disappeared (I can move my hand freely) but when I sat down and used my hand to help me get up, a HORRIBLE, SHARP pain just erupted in my wrist. The pain is around the base of my wrist (under the palm) a bit to the left so it's in line with my thumb.
It's extremely excruciating pain, I can't apply ANY pressure. I can move freely & pick up things, but when I do things that apply pressure (using it to balance myself, do push ups, etc.) it's painful!
p.s I play piano & violin a lot... & other repetitive motions. does this affect it?
