Lately for that past two weeks I've had a problem with a sudden very sharp back pain that will appear and then gradually fade away after getting up and walking around (and a little tylenol.)
The pain centers on or around my spine in the center of my back, just under my bra strap for reference if that helps any. It feels like it radiates to the sides, wrapping around and digging into my sides towards the front.
This phenomena tends to happen at night, waking me from a sound sleep. It has happened once during the day however, while I was sitting in class. I had only need seated for about ten minutes and was sitting the same way I always sit. This only happened occasionally at first but now seems to be becoming a nightly thing.
I'm a normal 17 year old girl who does not play sports but am of a healthy weight and good diet and no chance of pregnancy.
The only change in health lately has been the removal of my gallbladder, taken out on the 18th of february. It was laperoscopic and there were no problems other than the infection of one of the incisions later on, which I am now on antibiotics for and is clearing up.
This sudden back pain began a few days after I had my gallbladder removed.
If you read through this all, then thank you. I'm just looking for a possible reason for this pain, and if no one can tell me what it is, any advice or suggestions are welcome.and I'm also wondering if it's something serious enough to go to the doctor for.
A,gain thank you ahead of time for any help you can give me!
