Sharp back pain

For the last 3 days, I have been experiencing sharp pain in the upper left side of my back. This pain is felt when I inhale or if I move a certain way. It also seems to intensify when hot water is applied to the area, such as when showering. could this be a serious concern?

very strange to get worse when hot wate ris applied - advise you visit our GP as soon as possible
