hey, from the makers of shrek comes this new film (http://www.apple.com/trailers/dreamworks/shark_tale/), what do ppl think, its got a good cast, but do u think it will be better than shrek ?

After seeing the trailer, I'm not optimistic. Like you said, the cast is great.. but the jokes and general plot don't seem to be up to much. I mean usually on trailers they show the comical highlights, but if those were the best the movie has to offer, I might give it a miss. I don't think any movie of that type will ever be better than Shrek.. Finding Nemo was good though, which is another thing: this "Sharks" film seems a little too soon after the recent under-the-sea adventure that was the Nemo movie. By the way, am I the only one who thinks those "sharks" look more like puffins?

I saw the trailer last night and, even though it has a HUGE star cast the storyline looked a bit weak.
It looks okay but I'm not very impressed, it could be the movie that makes people realise that just because it's an animated 3D film full of top stars doesnt automatically make it a winner.
2D animation dead? Not a chance even if Disney and Dreamworks have turned their backs on it.
