Shared version of final cut stopped working?

I have a shared version of Final Cut (you are only supposed to have it on one computer, I have it on two) which has stopped working.
It doesn't work when both computers are connected to the same internet, but now one of the versions won't open at all.
The protection error has been coming up but this time it stopped working altogether. It won't let you open it at all.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
