Share some good solid business advice?

I'll be starting a small business from my home. (Designing original trendy t-shirts) The majority of my sales will be from my website I am hoping to build. I don't have a great deal of money but I have great ideas & lots of people willing to help me promote the business. Do you have any good, solid business advice for someone who has no business experience? Thank you for your help.
 
Start small, keep your overhead as low as possible and always beat your competitors prices. You will see the results soon enough. I started my own company at the age of 17 and became a self made millionaire by the age of 25, hard to believe from a stranger over the internet but true. I retired at the age of 50 when one of my sons was in a motocross accident and suffered permanent brain damage. I am always available to help and answer your questions.

I have over 33 years experience owning and operating my own companies and not until just recently I learned there are two ways to make a living, first by working hard but how many hardworking people do we all know that live paycheck to paycheck? too many I'm sorry to say. The second way is by working smart, if your open to advice let me know you just might see things a different way.
