Anyone have any suggestions? What do you use that works for you? I have super oily skin and I think the shampoo is causing those under the skin bumps on my forehead and hairline. I was using some shampoo from Sam's Club then switched to Suave daily clarifying shampoo (probably a bad move, i know!) so it must be my shampoo because I hardly ever put anything else on my face except special occasions. I hardly ever get any other acne.
Suggestions needed!! :)

I kind of doubt that your shampoo is actually causing acne, although it could be causing irritation. If you're sure that it's pore-clogging going on and not an allergic reaction, I would suspect that it's from your scalp oils and not the shampoo. (Pimples are common on the hairline and on your forehead, particularly if you have oily hair and bangs.) Try finding a hypo-allergenic shampoo that's made for oily hair - that should hit 2 birRAB with 1 stone by being gentle on your scalp, but also cleaning up the oil.

Can you afford salon products or have a friend who is licensed and get you good product at deep discounts?

Paul Mitchelle shampoo one is a good every day cleansing shampoo--if you use conditioner--keep it on the enRAB only and away from scalp.

I have found that my hair is much cleaner and healthier using good product.

I have oily hair too--not sure that can be cured--but using good hair products helps a lot. Any salon can help guide you on what you can use to help.

Thanks! I thought maybe it was the ingredients in my shampoo as I know others have mentioned on here that that was what was causing their bumps. :)

Try using a dandruff shampoo with salacylic acid (Ionil) in it, this should activly unblock your poores

This may seem like a silly question, but are you washing your face in the shower BEFORE or AFTER you shampoo & condition? (I've found people complete shower tasks in various orders!) If you are not doing so already, it's really important to wash your face after you shampoo/condition because I some of those products, conditioner especially, can cause bumps or acne. I noticed a HUGE difference with my "backne" (back acne), when I started washing my back after I'd shampooed/conditioned to make sure all the conditioner was off of my back. (I guess I used to do things backwarRAB and wash my hair last!)

ok thanks, I just switched to burts bees thinking maybe it was something in the sams club version that was blocking them so I thought maybe something more natural would help. Haven't seen much improvement yet. The make up I was using was everyday minerals (mineral makeup) so that shouldnt be whats causing it. I also just started washing my face with the neutrogena bar (unscented) and using roc microdermabrasion cleansing disks hoping this would help exfoliate them. Still, not much improvement but I don't know how long it will take to notice a difference. Could these be caused from anything else? They are all over my forehead and hairline (not much on cheeks and nose) but they go all the way up to my scalp which makes me think its my shampoo.

I actually have been trying to wash my face after I shampoo because I read about others who said it helped with the bumps.

Does this mean that I have sebbhoreic (sp?) dermatitis? My scalp doesnt really itch much, these bumps just arent really acne. They never form a head but they don't itch or hurt and they are VERY stubborn!!! Also which would be best, a dandruff shampoo with salicylic acid or coal tar?
