Hi.
To my amazement, I have managed to get shampoo in my eye while showering, around 5-10 times in the last few weeks. I have read that the ingredient Sodium Lauryl Sulfate can cause eye damage, nerve damage and damage the brain. Is this true or just an urban myth? If that is the case surely it would be a bad idea to use toothpaste that also contains SLS.
What is the best way to rinse your eyelids should you get something in your eye? I have read rinsing from the edge closest to your nose outward is the best way.
Thanks
