So im doing an ANTM inspired shoot involving shadows, but i do not know where to meter. I know that if the sun is behind the subject, you meter the shadow on the ground, and if the sun is above or in front, you just meter straight on. However, what happens if your subject is only partially in the "shadows" like in these images, then where/what would you meter off of?
